I urge you to support the Green Marine Highway Initiative . I ask that you allocate $250 million to fund U.S. loan guarantees that will create jobs and build American made ships
I support shifting polluting truck cargoes on to new, clean, Green Ships wherever possible as these vessels will reduce carbon emissions and decrease our dependency on foreign oil, while saving the U.S. tax payer money.
